How To Help
We welcome individuals and groups to help us build a new home. Construction is just one way to lend a hand. Landscaping is another, as are public relations, fundraising, or serving on a committee, such as the Board of Directors or family selection. Click here for the Board of Directors job description.

What is Sweat Equity?
All Habitat Partner Families are required to help contribute to the construction of their new home.
The family supplies us with a list of those people from their family and friends network who can help contribute to the home. The family members who are over 16 years old become engaged personally in the project. The Partner Family is required to serve a minimum of 250 hours of their time into building the home. This is called the "sweat equity." Sweat equity fosters ownership and pride in the home at an early stage and throughout the building process.
Together with the family and consistent volunteers, Habitat is able to provide homes the entire community can take pride in.
THANK YOU: A special thank you to all those who have served in helping prior Partner Families realize their dream of a safe, decent home to call their own. Your gift of time lives on for many, many years.
